MODIFICATION OF MICROCOMMAND ADDRESSING SYSTEM IN CONTROL UNIT WITH CODE SHARING

Abstract. Two modifications of microcommand addressing system in compositional microprogram control unit with code sharing are proposed in the paper. The modifications are based on using the automaton pseudoequivalent states to reduce the row number in the automaton transition table and thus to reduce the complexity of the combinational part of the device. The methods are proposed to synthesize compositional control units with mo dified microcommand addressing system. The research results are given and the appropriate fields of application of the proposed methods are identified.
