Abstract. The most essential aspects of the scientific heritage of academician V.M. Glushkov are addressed. The essence of modern info-telecommunication strategies and features of their implementation in Ukraine are revealed. The contribution of the National Technical University of Ukraine «Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» to the development of modern telecommunication strategies is demonstrated as intergenerational continuity and a guarantee for implementing the outstanding Glushkov’s ideas.
