Abstract. The problem of aggregation of economic actors is illustrated by the example of aggregation of customers. The requirement of correctness of aggregation is introduced according to which the collective choice of benefits should be equal to the sum of individual choices. It is shown that this requirement is satisfied in only one case when collective and individual utility functions are quasi-equivalent and quasi homogeneous, i.e., are obviously unsatisfactory for economic reasons.
Keywords: utility function, aggregation, Engel curves.
