DETERMINING SEMANTIC VALENCES OF ONTOLOGY CONCEPTS BY MEANS OF NON-NEGATIVE FACTORIZATION OF LARGE TEXT CORPORA TENSORS

Abstract. The paper describes a method for automatic detection of semantic relations between ontological knowledge base nodes by analyzing matrices of semantic-syntactic word valences. These matrices are obtained by means of non-negative factorization of syntactic words combinability tensor. The tensor has been generated in the course of frequency analysis of syntactic structures obtained from the large text corpora sentences taken from English Wikipedia and Simple English Wikipedia articles.
