Abstract. The equilibrium conditions of an open economy containing monopolies are investigated. The presence of non-insatiable consumers in the economy is considered. The influence of consumption structure depended prices on equilibrium states is investigated. The existence of equilibrium states in such economy is proved. The relation between selection of taxation strategy and realization of a particular equilibrium state is established.
