Non-inflationary consumer demand

/ B.B. Dunaev // Kibernetika i sistemnyi analiz. — 2016. — Vol. 52, N 4. — P. 103–117.

The author shows that economies of developed countries cannot come out of the crisis began in 2008 because the central banks crack down annual inflation, “no greater than two percent,” which does not allow consumer demand to grow. Pumping money into the economy and reducing interest rates to zero led to a sharp increase in speculative financial sector due to the deepening credit crisis and led to monetary deflation in the real sector, which keeps depression.
