MATEMATICAL MODEL OF THE FUNCTIONING OF CONDITIONED REFLEXES

Abstract. The basic principles and approaches to mathematical modeling of conditioned reflexes in a human or animal on the basis of the developed mathematical apparatus of differential equations with a delayed argument are proposed and analyzed. This model clearly takes into account the slow interaction of a group of interconnected neurons and illustrates the dependence of the decision-making speed in real typical situations on the magnitude of the delay in the passage of a neuro signal in the CNS. The mechanism of generating a number of conditioned reflexes, the so-called multi-link conditioned reflexes, is shown.

Keywords: mathematical modeling, multilevel conditioned reflexes, delayed interaction of neurons, living neural network, memory mechanism.
