Abstract. The paper gives an approach to the assessment of the validity of decisions made for complex systems using multicriteria methods. It is also proposed to evaluate the validity based on the relevant criterion, which involves not only assessing the results obtained by the multicriteria methods but also takes into account preliminary stages related to preparation of the initial data.
