SYSTEMS APPROACH TO ERGONOMIC PROVISION OF ROAD
TRAFFIC CONDITIONS

Abstract. It is proposed to use a mathematical model of the automatic control theory, in which the features of traffic control are determined by the transition process described by the transfer functions of the car and the driver, to form ergonomic driving conditions in the system “driver–car–road environment.” The proposed model makes it possible to simulate speed control processes in accordance with the traffic situation whose impact on the driver is estimated by the complex characteristic: the maximum entropy of the traffic environment.

Keywords: motion conditions, entropy of the medium, speed of motion, transfer function.
