TO A PERSUIT–EVASION PROBLEM UNDER A CONSTRAINT ON THE DISTANCE BETWEEN OBJECTS

Abstract. A trajectory pursuit-evasion problem is considered in the plane under restrictions on speeds of counteracting objects and the distance between them. This level of model study brings tactical possibilities of designed pilotless flying devices closer to tactical possibilities of existing piloted aircrafts, which is that is an urgent problem of modern aircraft construction. An approach is proposed that allows one to obtain exact solution in specific parametric situations.

Keywords: pursuit–evasion problem, optimal trajectories, conflict situations, counteracting sides, pilotless aircraft.
