ELLIPSOIDAL AND INTERVAL ESTIMATION OF STATE VECTORS FOR THE FAMILIES OF LINEAR AND NONLINEAR DISCRETE-TIME DYNAMIC SYSTEMS

Abstract. The constructive algorithms of ellipsoidal estimation of state vector are proposed for the families of linear dynamic systems and a wide range of nonlinear systems under bounded disturbances. The algorithms are based on the use of support functions and approximation of generally non-convex set estimates by ellipsoids.
