The boundary effect in the error estimate of the finite-difference scheme for Poisson’s equation

We obtain the weighted error estimate of the finite-difference scheme for Poisson’s equation in a unit square, which takes into account the effect of the first boundary condition. We prove that the accuracy order is higher near the sides of the domain where the Dirichlet boundary condition is specified. Figs: 0. Tabl.: 0. Refs: 8 titles.
