STABILITY OF DIFFERENCE SPLITTING SCHEMES FOR
THE CONVECTIVE-DIFFUSION EQUATION

Abstract. We consider the problem of numerical modeling of the propagation of contamination in the air processes on the basis of geometry splitting method for three-dimensional nonstationary convection-diffusion equations. Splitting difference schemes in the form of schemes with explicit computing are proposed to solve the obtained one-dimensional problems. The approximation, monotonicity, and stability of difference schemes are investigated.

Keywords: convection-diffusion equation, splitting methods, numerical method, finite difference scheme, stability.
